This study investigates the reliability and validity of elements that influence the progression of cultural marketing through sports in Iran. Given the significant role culture plays in the economic, social, and political advancement of communities, along with the importance of sports as a universal language facilitating cultural interchange, this research highlights the crucial link between sports and cultural marketing. The sample population comprised managers and deputies from sports and youth departments across the country’s provinces; 122 participants were selected via simple random sampling through an online platform. A questionnaire served as the data collection instrument, featuring 67 items organized into 14 components using a five-point Likert scale. The findings demonstrated that the criteria for convergent validity, divergent validity, and reliability (including Cronbach's alpha, factor loadings, and composite reliability) were fully met. Furthermore, the structural model displayed a good fit regarding the relationships among variables, and all proposed hypotheses were confirmed based on the significance of t-values. The R² and Q² indices further reflected the model's predictive power and satisfactory explanatory capacity. The results underline the necessity of managing causal, contextual, intervening, strategic, and consequential factors for the advancement of cultural marketing through sports. It is recommended that cultural and sports officials enhance the role of sports as a vital instrument to foster cultural unity and national identity, taking into account cultural diversity and suitable infrastructure. This research presents a credible model indicating that sports can facilitate the sustainable development of the cultural market and elevate cultural awareness within society.
